New Wave Station Testing Live

Postby suttonrecords » Sun Nov 26, 2006 9:03 am

For those who might be interested, New Wave radio station WXB 102 is test broadcasting live for the first time:

http://www.live365.com/stations/xb_102

DJ Sandman is live right now. In early 2007, WXB 102 will cast away its prerecorded broadcasts and will have live DJs daily.

We're just ironing out the bugs so pardon the technical problems. If you want to hear a radio station truly reborn, check us out right now.

I am listening right now. Sounds great. It is funny to hear "The station that dares to be different". That is the phrase WLIR used to use in their hayday. Good luck.

Thanks! That's what WXB 102 began using in 1986 as well. Welcome aboard. Do you have a request right now?

I don't have any requests, I'd rather listen to what you guys are playing. (some things are unfamilar to me)
I love the Red Flag song "If I Ever" that is playing now. I also liked The Stage song.
Thanks for the post letting us know about the live broadcast.[:)]

Hi MIKEY! Right now, the station is not available? Well, goodluck to you guys. Nice to know that PHILIPPINES PREMIER NEW WAVE RADIO STATION WXB102 have a lot in store for its listeners.[;)] Like my favourite XB DJs would say back in 1985-1987 "This is the station that dares to be different, This is DWXB102.7 FM broadcasting in the bay area, We are definitely something else in the KBP". Will do this week, DSR. Hopefully, we've gotten the bugs ironed out with the radio station now. Seems to be working. Growing pains [B)]

Very nice Mike. Can you possibly play the acoustic version of Over And Over by The Railway Children? And this one The Damned song ( i forgot the title but i can put the lyrics here, even if it is wrong. Its how i understand it. )

"you'll be in love with almost evryone..."

"and ill be alone...."

Ahhh, what the heck, just ignore it. [:D]
