Some off the top of my head:

Devo-Are We Not Men?
Talking Heads-Everything up to Naked
Screaming Blue Messiahs-Bikini Red
The Cult-Electric
The Cars-S/T and Candy-O
U2-War

I will admit that in the 80's I was more likely to actually listen to a whole album, because it took more effort to get to the next track with cassettes or vinyl. The CD and MP3 player have had the same effect on music as the remote control has had on television viewing. Sure, you get to skip right to what you want, but you miss plenty in the process.

There are several newer albums that fit into that category for me but the ones from the 80's would be:

Re-Flex - The Politics of Dancing
New Musik - Anywhere
Buggles - The Age of Plastic
B-52's - Bouncing off the Satellites
Icehouse - Measure to Measure
OMD - Architecture & Moraility

Wow, good question...
You know, it's funny. Back in the good old days of tapes and vinyls (tapes mostly) it wasnt that easy to hit the "skip button". No, you had to Fast Forward and that was a pain in the ass... meaning: less skipped tracks. (hell! I even like The Police's "Mother" from Synchronicity)

But, oh well, I'll just list a few albums that I liked from beginning to end the first time I heard them.

1. Simple Minds - New Gold Dream
2. Wall of Voodoo - Call of the West
3. Adam & The Ants - Prince Charming
4. Hüsker Dü - Warehouse: Songs and Stories
5. Oingo Boingo's first 3 albums
6. The Church - Heyday
7. The Cure - Pornography
8. The Smiths - Meat is Murder
9. OMD - Organisation
10. Tears for Fears - The Hurting (ok, I admit skipping "Ideas as Opiates" once in a while)

There are so many others, but these are the ones that came to mind in a jiffy...
