No, I hadn't seen it. Only the songs by Los fabulosos Cadillacs and Fito Paez ring a bell... though the others might have been famous in Spain (I don't know since I almost haven't listened to music stations or watched music programs on TV in the last 16 years -I'm a bit stuck on the 80's [:)]-).
By the way, the song by Sumo has funny lyrics and Victoria Mil sound good.

For some reason, every CD-R I make has fingerprints on them. I've yet to make one with a yacht on it.

Oh my God, I thought I was the only person who loved Division Of Laura Lee! I love that whole album "Dirty Love" is in. I wonder why they haven't released anything since 2004. Das Not Compute was my favorite album of that year and I wish DOLL would do some new stuff. I only hope they haven't hit dire straits.
Add another one to the list .... I think they're outstanding. They are working on a new album, but they have no idea yet when it will come out.

Have you heard the side projects Frantic Mantis and New Moscow? There are a couple of mp3's here:

OH MY GOD, YOU RULE. And no, I haven't heard those two side projects yet -- well, I just now clicked on the New Moscow profile link and was very pleased to hear what that first song that comes on ("Go Rebel Go") sounds like, and it's kinda humorous that one of their songs was used on an episode of "Grey's Anatomy" (I don't think they'd use a DOLL song). OMG, this is way exciting. VERY, very exciting. I'm so glad that you're more on top of what's happening in the DOLL-sphere and that they are going to release a new album, and it is... wow, so they're still busy with musical projects. AWESOME.

I've seen Victoria Mil many times now... if you live in Arg and dig the indie scene, you'll probably end up seeing them loads of times. It's cool cos they play small gigs and the people there have fun singing and dancing. Estoy bien, bien, bien, bien, estoy bien.. equivocado!! [:D]
Sumo is great! Singer passed unfortunately... followed way too much Ian Curtis' precepts. You know, I like dancing tho a place that always throws 80s specials on Fridays and ends them with Sumo music. So, it's a typical phrase among the habitues of tthe place: "I stay until the end cos I like Sumo and I can handle long hours of dancing". [8D]

Why make CDs in the age of music players. Playlists, isn't that the practice now?

Happens all the time in music and in art.
I'll post later some music from a rather well- known indie band. Their bassist is gonna give me their cd... I've seen his pic... he's hot, I'm so intimidated but I want the cd! [8D]
