I cannot tolerate the hits from 'Into the Gap', so that halts my interest from going further..., though I did have that LP back in 1984. I did have the 'Future Days' LP at one point ages ago, but found it vile.

Early stuff such as "Make Believe","Animal Laugh (Oumma Aularesso)",Squares and Triangles" and "She's in Love With Mystery"[all done before they become a 3 piece band] is excellent and creditable and IMHO far superior to their late 80s/early 90s output which indeed was crap!!!.

Wasnt a massive fan of their hits period[1983- 1985],but i guess they were ok[ish],and as pointed out on here there were worse bands around at the time.

It's not obvious, unless you are condoning the use of a racist term??

I have to assume that as you cannot manage anything more than a one word reply, that you think just like InvisibleMan, that the term Negro is acceptable??

Has this forum ever heard of the term Moderator??

Their lows (Heres To Future Days – Close To The Bone) are incredibly low but they made some great singles and albums, their last one, Queer, is an absolute masterpiece – great tunes, catchy melodies and still sounds very contemporary today. Ditto Quick Step And Sidekick – not a single duff track on it (possible exception – We Are Detective). I do find a lot of their 1983-1985 singles far too over-played, the gems are hidden in the albums or b-sides (Tears, Day After Day, Judy Do, Beach Culture).

I was always a bit suspicious over the Roll Over single being withdrawn. If it was ready to go to on general release but cancelled at the very last minute how come there wasn’t a video? Any comeback single from a big-ish band would have had a video made weeks ahead of release surely?

OBVIOUSLY, my point was that you're a whiny little bitch to cry about someone using a word (any word) on a message board. Hope that clarifies it for you.

I shouldn't expect anything better from you bearing in mind you list your "hobbies" as guns, gambling, and abusing fools.

I don't understand why you would have any issues with the first two, unless you hate the right to bear arms and allowing people to have fun and supplement their income as much as you hate a person's freedom of speech. As for my third listed hobby ... well, thanks for helping me to enjoy it on this fine day! [^]

Now ... shall we mention one of your "hobbies"?
