Posted: Mon May 22, 2006 5:38 amFrankly none of them defined an era or had any impact on me, except maybe for retrospective entertainment. The era defined the era. These just documented it IMHO.

It had more impact on me because it was in a way an ending to an era I was quite fond of.
Still probably my favorite concert movie.

Posted: Fri Oct 10, 2008 11:29 amI have seen some of these films in a very important part of my life, discovering music after High School by going to shows and having my first video rental card when many stores still had interesting Music sections. The only one I have not seen yet is Dance Craze, although I have the soundtrack.
The one in this list which connected to me the most was The Punk Rock Movie, Don Lett's classic 8mm look into the early days of the Punk scene in London. Classic raw footage that sometimes can be spotted in recent Documentary films, including Lett's own Punk: Attitude.

Posted: Sun Oct 12, 2008 10:40 amYes, Urgh! defined the era; however, I've seen Danse Craz if seen more times then I can count on my fingers and toes in the movie theatre... So I voted for it! [8D]
