The Plimsouls Live

Postby SubMassCon » Fri Jun 16, 2006 6:27 am

After some 20+ years I finally got to see the Plimsouls live last night. And man oh man...they did not disappoint. They played with the vitality of a band half their age.

All of the tunes you'd want to hear were playd: Zero Hour, How Long Will It Take, A Million Miles Away, Now, Hush Hush, Oldest Story In The World, Everywhere At Once, etc., etc.

They're playing just a few shows across the country. If they make it to your town do yourself a favor and check them out.

Excellent SMC. Where'd they play last night? They're just so so so so freaking vital! I'd travel anywhere in a 500 mile radius to see them again. My own quick review was in my SXSW review earlier this year...

Congrats dude. Everyone should catch these Power Pop gods at least once.

Very nice review, Blir. I hadn't seen that before.

They were in Chicago last night. I wish they had another date around here somewhere. Milwaukee, Madison, St. Louis...I'd definitely drive to see them again.
