Songs that mention companies or products

Postby iposse » Tue Jun 27, 2006 5:30 am

We all know companies are using new wave music in their commercials to sell products. What about the reverse--songs that mention companies or products in either a positive or a negative way?

Suicidal Tendencies - Institutionalized (Pepsi)
Talking Heads - (Nothing But) Flowers (Pizza Hut, Dairy Queen, 7-11)
Social Distortion - Story of My Life (7-11)
Sparks - Mickey Mouse (Disneyland)
Adrian Belew - Oh Daddy (Disney World)
Faith No More - We Care a Lot (Garbage Pail Kids, Transformers)
Prince - Little Red Corvette (Corvette)
Dead Milkmen - Bitchin' Camaro (Camaro)
Bollock Brothers - Harley David (Harley Davidson)
The Nails - 88 Lines About 44 Women (Perrier)
Jim Carroll Band - People Who Died (Drano)

Can anyone think of any others?

Does TV Party by Black Flag count?

Lots of network TV "products" mentioned in the show.
