Would any of you give up your cd collection to be with the girl/guy of your dreams? Just wondering. [:D]

No!!!!! [;)][:D]
Guy of my dreams??? No, that doesn't exist so I'll keep my cd's.

Sure, as long as I could burn them all to my hard drive first.

Oh no Mechi, I thought the guy of your dreams was here, the one you worry about when he doesn't answer your emails [;)][:p]
And in my case, I think I wouldn't mind giving my CD collection up to find a lovely German or Nordic guy [:D]... I could always come to the NWO and ask you guys for my favourite songs [:D][:D]

Ah, yes Frayo!!!
But he is like in the other half of the world so I don't have to give up my cd's. [:D]

Never.
If you had to give things up to be with the girl/guy of your dreams, then it'd never be worth it in the long run. You'd start resenting that other person and six months down the line, you'd be regretting it. Then the relationship would fall to pieces and you'd be without your CDs and alone.
Just download some porn and watch it while surrounded by your awesome CD collection...

Trick question. The girl of my dreams wouldn't be the girl of my dreams if she asked me to give up my CD collection.
In fact, she hasn't. [8D]

I don't give myself any illusions about those things anymore, but since this is hypothetical: The grrl of my dreams will always be 21, look like Charlize Theron and will make bank from modeling gigs, and cooks like an Italian iron chef[:p] Yes, I'd give up many things to be with this mythical goddess[8D]

Such a simple question. Most likely the girl of all our dreams would have both a rack AND a rack of CDs that just wouldn't quit...so no sweat giving up my discs.

I forgot to mention this girl of my dreams just happens to by a nymphomaniac with a bunch of model-actress friends[8D]

You cannot find real happiness in attachment to things(cd collections) or people(love of your life). You can be stripped of either at any time. So, this said, the brief shining moments or the great love affair delivers far more satisfaction, emotionally, physically, etc. But, like the song, it ends in it's time...unless you push replay or are just outright persistent!

Maybe in here the question should be "would you give up the girl / guy of your dreams for a massive and complete CD collection?" [;)]
Hmm... its worth serious thought hehe.

I once told a bipolar, borderline/narcissistic personality ex-girlfriend (who never seemed to stop bitching about how many albums I owned... no, make that, who never seemed to stop bitching period), "Those records are worth more to me than a hundred of you."
After the relationship ended, I felt pretty bad for saying that. So I apologized to all my CDs for undervaluing them.

LOL! Funny how that changes things...going from the thing you have to the thing you don't would seem a big motivator either way.
