I saw Moz play Coachella years ago. I don't think he'd do a good gig even WITH the reformed The Smiths[V]

Some groups or people just don't want to get back together, anyone rememeber in 2000 ABBA has turned down a $1 billion offer to reunite.
The Beatles in the 70's were offered 30 mil.

In Abba's case with the humungous amount of royalties they get each year you can't really blame them.

You're only saying that now 'cause you outgrew the music. But don't tell me Fernando didn't make you all teary-eyed [;)]

I don't know why.... call me an idealist, but... I would have been disappointed had they reunited specifically for the $$$. If they want to do it to make music again, that's cool.... but to be whored out like that, I dunno. Just rubs me the wrong way for some reason. I'm glad they refused. Some things are just better left in the past, and I think The Smiths is one of those things.
My 2 cents anyway
