"What are words for?
When no one listens anymore?"

Could someone please list all the bands that have toured?

There was this group called "Nena". They sang this song with the words "Captain Kirk". Everything else sounded like adults speaking in a Peanuts cartoon. It was amazing. Maybe someone could do a song with "Picard" in it.

Plagiarism--You've got a point about Nena. The Cocteau Twins seem to have this tendency in their songs as well.

But as for me, the chorus for They Might Be Giants' song "Minimum Wage"--It seems like they're not saying any words at all. Huh. [:D]

Hi there.

Even though they're solo artrists, some of my favourite lyrics have come from Elvis Costello and Kylie Minogue. One such memorable and witty line comes from Kylie's "Your Disco Needs You". The line is: "You're lost in conversation and useless at Scrabble."

That heavy metal band Guadalcanal Diary I think put words in their lyrics and used instruments in their music[:D]

Oh, I don't listen to that song much. It makes me think unhappy thoughts about being productive at work. Who needs that kind of misery?
