LOST IN THE DESERT, I NEED A DRINK

Postby jumpshift » Tue Sep 12, 2006 8:48 am

Let's say you're driving around the desert on a Friday Afternoon looking for a Motel to spend the weekend. Then you'rr car breaks down and your in the middle of nowhere. You walk to the nearest 7-11 store but they tell you there closed for the weekend. DAMN! But then you walk back to your car and get there just in time to see it being towed away. Then you discover you've left your cell phone at home. All you have is a few bags of crackers and a jug of water. However it turns out the fucking water had gone stayle and now tastes like piss. Your stuck in the middle of nowhere. You spend the following night and day lost and wandering the desert and find only a few shops which are either closed for the weekend or gone out of business. Then like a miracle you see a soda machine lying on a sidewalk. It's 143 degrres outside and your lost. You must have a soda ASAP. But When you go to drink, the soda is not cold but very warm and tastes bad.

What would you do?

None of the above. I'd count NW bands that sang about drinking, or had drinks in their names or album titles.

I'd slit my throat, drink the blood and then move this post to the Not Necessarily New Wave message boards.
