It's freakin' criminal! I gave up long ago. Maybe it's because it's all pre-MTV, I don't know. They're absolutely essential, asbolutely fun, absolutely rockin', all the style, all the substance. A top 5 "new wave" band for sure.

Remember these? No?

Freckin' criminal is an understatement...[:0] I've always mentioned The Jam when I could/can, as well as the Chords, who are also underated, and an excellent Power Pop band, forget the "gentle" new wave b.s. -- these guys are in-your-face music! [:D]

Count me in as a Jam fan,I only got to see them once.
I still have a tape of them live at the paradise in Boston recorded off a BCN broadcast . I'm going to have to burn it and get it onto my i-pod.

I just gave that tape a listen. It must have been recorded in 78 or 79 since they start with All Mod Cons and go right into To Be Someone. I have to give TDK credit the tape is 28 yrs old and still sounds mint!

If I ever find (in my garage/in a box/not labled) my Jam t-shirt, I'll send it to you. Bonus, it might even be a sweat-shirt... I bought it years/decades ago at Posseur's on Melrose Avenue in LA-la-land! [:D]
