80s & More

Postby DJ_Denniz » Mon Sep 25, 2006 5:43 am

Well, first time for everything. First post, here we go. Great to see/hear that 80's/(new) wave is still appreciated. My musical interest are quite diverse from goth-industrial to electro-EBM and 80s-wave. I also DJ in two local clubs in Holland (Rockz Leidschendam & Baroeg Rotterdam) in the above genres and reading all your fav 80s-wave songs in all the topics really brings back good memories and are filling in the gaps.

Stuff we usually spin is diverse, mainly centered around 80s/wave and the occasional new alternative clubhit thrown in. Luckely we keep playlists as well so if you're interested walk throught the playlist of the last 80s & More event of August 5 at the Baroeg below.

I'm always interested in rediscovering gems from the past and I hope to find a bunch of them here [:D] Are there any songs that should have been in that playlist instead of some bands appearing twice? Let me know. Looking forward to reading a lot more! I'm still ploughing through all of the topics and I really like what I'm reading.

Welcome Dennis! Nice list ... intriguing to see the likes of Sylvian & Sakamoto's "Forbidden Colours" or The Adventures alongside NIN, Ministry and Sisters of Mercy![8D]

As I said, quite diverse. We usually start the evening with 'slower' songs and try to keep the dancefloor happy later on [:)]
