The female singer in Sisters of Mercy is the wife of Jim Morrison (lead singer of THE DOORS)....her name is Patricia Keannely Morrison.

Patricia Morrison played bass for SoM during the Floodland era. Prior to that she had been in The Gun Club, The Fur Bible (with Kid Congo Powers), and The Bags.

She was in The Damned for a good chunk of the late 90's and she and Dave Vainun were married a few years back.

Actually, apparently she didn't "play bass" for SoM--she held a bass guitar in their music videos.
