Reverberation (1990) - Echo w/o Ian

Noel Burke (who?) fills in for Ian McCulloch on vocals. The songs are solid, Will Sergeant's guitar work gives a recognizable Echo & the Bunnymen sound, but it's just not the same without Ian. I'd be interested in opinions on this album.

Maybe not the same w/o Ian, I agree, but man, I still think this is excellent just the same. The songs get so good at times I don't care it's without him, the guy singing is perfect for these songs. Very solid release throughout in my opinion, and a must have regardless of Ian or even the band name.

I didn't know that that's not Ian singing! I enjoy this album a LOT. "Enlighten Me" is my fave off this one (I remember hearing this song towards the end of my college years and thinking "cool! Echo & the Bunnymen are still around!" ). Solid musicianship and classic Bunnymen sound.

I like the album too. Noel Burke is a good singer. I can't really say anything bad about him except that he's not Ian (but who is?). It's just hard to think of it as an Echo & the Bunnymen album.

A vastly underrated album that'll never be reissued. Noel Burke was in a group called St. Vitus Dance prior to this Bunnymen project. I should post an mp3.

It's an interesting album!![;)] There's still the classic touch on THE BUNNYMEN even though without IAN.[8D] A great album for your collection!![:)]

I could`nt agree more. Glad they got together again. It`s a shame about Pete though
