Famous but Forgotten Track 1's?

Is it possible to have a great leadoff track on a famous new wave album by a famous new wave band that's basically been forgotten? Maybe not forgotten per se, but they're never played on any flashback hours or weekends or even gets any mention here. I was just noticing "Noticeable One" by Missing Persons. Have you noticed it much? How 'bout "Windows" right after it? Even "It Ain't None of Your Business". It's always only "Destination Unknown" and "Walking in LA", but really, how many albums out there start with 5 tracks like Spring Session M?! They're certainly not my usual cup of tea, but jeez, what a classic album (with a classic cover to boot).
Are there other nonfamous examples off otherwise famous or infamous albums?

Yes, the song "Computer One" by Dear Enemy. As far as I know never played on any flashback weekend. I used to play it in my DJ-ing years at the club, and everyone would always ask: "Who was that?" [:D]

Two come to mind:
"For a Moment We're Strangers" on the Church's Of Skins and Hearts album
"Everybody's Somebody's Fool" on the Bluebell's Sisters album
Or maybe they don't meet the requirement of famous.

I'm always irked when Gang Of Four's "I Love A Man I A Uniform" gets played, yet I never hear "Call Me Up" (the lead off and more superior
track from that album) or Blondie's "Heart Of Glass" over "Hanging On The Telephone"...

"Life During Wartime" by the Talking Heads is pretty much the only track off of the "Fear of Music" album that gets any sort of airplay anymore. I remember when the album first came out that "I Zimbra" and "Cities" would get a fair share of airplay as well.
I guess a few songs off of Joe Jackson's first two albums could also fit this category.

<p align="justify">I lived in a third-world country with radio stations that didn't follow a specific format, so I heard some strange choices back then that I thought would've been popular long after the band has ceased being popular. The first song that came to mind was "Summer In Berlin" by Alphaville. While not as great as "Forever Young" and "Big In Japan," I thought it'd still get some airplay. But, hell, here in SoCal, radio is shit and you'd be lucky to hear Madonna's "Angel" or "Burning Up" (or anything off the first album).

"Ether" off Gang of Four's Entertainment just came to mind. Even hearing it in concert, it was like "whoa, what's this?" It almost sounded hardcore with its brutal beat and almost metallic guitars.

Or "Assault and Battery". Both really good tracks that were completely overlooked.
I have to add "In Your Room" from "Different Light" by the Bangles.

"The Hurting" - THE HURTING by Tears For Fears
"Harbourcoat" - RECKONING by R.E.M. / not New Wave but good introduction to great album
"Gloria" - OCTOBER by U2 / used to get played on MTV frequently but rarely heard these days
"Spring Collection" - NEW CLEAR DAYS by The Vapors / just as good as Turning Japanese IMHO
"Respectable Street" - BLACK SEA by XTC / not one of their bigger/popular hits but one of the few good songs on an otherwise overrated album
