I have an idea for an interesting thread.
What albums do you know where the title song from an album appeared on a different album.

For Example:
Elbow......Asleep In The Back was their first album but the song was a single released after the first album came out.

Led Zeppelin.....Houses of the Holy was their 5th album but the song appeared on Physical Graffiti.

Gomez....Bring It On was their first album but the song was on Liquid Skin - their 2nd album.

I think the point is missed here. I'm talking about albums where the title song is not actually on that album but is on another one/single.
Construction Time Again, Some Great Reward, Black Celebration etc are not actually songs.
On the other hand the song Houses of the Holy by Led Zeppelin was not on the album Houses Of the Holy, but was on Physical Graffiti.

The Elvis Costello song "Almost Blue" appeared on "Imperial Bedroom", which it turn showed up as a b-side on "Man Out of Time".

I always thought that when Elvis Costello named his 5th album "Trust" (or 6th, if you count "Taking Liberties"), it was a nod to the song "Trust" (a b-side) that Squeeze did (which Elvis Costello helped produce).

More recently, the song "North" by Elvis Costello does not appear at all on the album proper, but there is a performance of it on the DVD that came with some copies of the album (and may have been available for digital download, but that's speculation on my part).

The Kid Creole & the Coconuts song "To Travel Sideways" would show up on their next album, "Kiss Me Before the Light Changes".

More to come as I remember them. Fun topic!

"Nightlife" by Pet Shop Boys was not on the album by that name. It didn't show up, as far as I know, until it was on the bonus disc for the US version of "Release".
