New Wave Outpost Forum

Okay, let's get away from a girl band that seemed to rub people the wrong way and see if the spirit of the "Cheese" will provide more admirers than detractors.

Let's focus this time on our favorite trash-picking Diva (because after all, Marilyn was trash) . . . Boy George AND Culture Club

Same rules apply. Drop your least favorite song and point it clearly on top (with your favorite sarcastic quip), then relist what's left, until the song that remains is the best that has been vocalized by our favorite Boy George (and I'm not talking about the President . . . )

My favorite song is not included, "Unfortunate Thing" [:(]

EDIT: Thanks! [:D]

Shouldn't we finish The Clash before we start another game? I really enjoy these games but let's finish one we already started, good pick though! I was thinking Cyndi Lauper or B-52's for the next game

Well, Falco was around the same time as Blondie and The Bangles were around the same time as Adam & The Ants (and I think Devo, too). I think it's fun to play with a "Great" and a "Cheesy artist" (dubbed by others, of course) at the same time. If it seems too much, I can hold this list off.

I was thinking Cyndi for the future (B-52's on the other hand--they're a "Great". At least I thought so).

Oh, and since it didn't take off yet, I added "Unfortunate Thing"

Thanks for adding "Unfortunate Thing"

I'll kick things off and take out - 24. Love Twist (Featuring Captain Crucial) - I never liked this song, wasn't it the b-side to "White Boy" I think I have the 12" downstairs
