You better be a serious Velvet Underground fan. Holy crap! Either that or the vinyl comes with the distribution rights so that you can remaster to CD it for the NWO to harp on how lousy the transfer quality is. [}:)][;)]

I bet most of the top bidders for that will be of the non-paying variety.

You want rare...go here, this stuff is insanely rare. You gotta admire that kind of collecting, even if it is Beatle stuff.

Six figures? I wish!

Why do I need to have 6
figures?
It's useless
The songs will be the same

If an artist has not a better job to do
or a new record to publish
it's not my problem!!!!!!!

It sold for $ 155,401. Wow!

I was in it upto 150K, but I need Starbucks money, eheheh. (always wanted to use that). Now it seems that some of the stuff was released on a Japanese CD about 10 years ago. I think it's way overpriced.

I also think the winner will end up being a non payer. Great for your 15 minutes of fame on CNN.

I tend to agree. It looks like he's also picked up some ties for $10 and a DVD for $0.01. So yeah, a $155k piece of vinyl seems to be his next step. [?][?]

Here's a good guide to how much things go for on ebay

Yeah, what a hoot, most of the top bidders had never spent more than $50.00 on anything on eBay, so $155,000.00 does seem a bit steep in comparison.
