Robbie Nevil

Robbie Nevil is my favorite eighties new wave singer. I was wondering if anyone else liked him? He is undeservedly classified as a "1 hit wonder" even though a bunch of his songs charted. A lot of people only know him for "C'est La Vie" but he put out 3 outstanding albums (Robbie Nevil, A Place Like This, and Day 1)!!! I think they're all out of print so if you missed out on them, you may only be able to get the greatest hits.
"C'est La Vie" is my alltime top favorite song. I play it at least every other day.
Any other Robbie fans here?

Pebbles, Salt-n-Pepa, and Lisa Lisa with or without the Cult Jam could all kick Robbie's ass! [:o)]

Is Robbie Nevil "new wave" exactly?

I've always thought he was. Moreso certainly than Lisa Lisa or Salt 'n Pepa

I know Edie Brickell could kick Robbie Nevil's ass as well as Lisa Lisa's, although if Cult Jam was there, Edie would need ALL of the New Bohemians to have a chance.

Coop, get a grip. Next thing you'll be telling me that Belle Biv Devoe or Exposé are better than Lisa Lisa. No way Mister! Not only that, Gino Vanelli would shred this whole crowd!

*Sigh*. I came here for some serious musical discussion; not to be ridiculled by a gang of wannabe comedians. I guess I missed any mention of hazing in the faq's. I'm sorry to have been such an inconvience.
