Alright... Who had the better back-up band behind them? Made the vocalist sound their best? Below are the pickin's:

I voted for the Attaractions, saw them live backing up Elvis at least three times, and they were tight and good... The Banshees would be my second choice.

The Legendary John Cafferty (remember Eddie and the Cruisers?) [:D]

I just remembered the ultimate backing band - The E Street Band. Nobody can touch those guys.

Gotta go with Mike ad the Mechanics. I like their song that goes..

"say it loud...
say it clear..
thru the years..."

with childrens choir on the background.

Through the years????

I had to vote for Elvis Costello & The Attractions. Even though he's not my favorite artist there's no way I can deny that almost nobody could harmonize the way him and the Attractions did in every song I've heard by them. Absolutely brilliant. Especially on everyday I write the book. My second pick would be Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers.
