Pet Shop Boys & Robbie Williams
Posted: Fri Feb 23, 2007 5:12 amJust got this in my inbox:
"She's Madonna", the Robbie Williams and Pet Shop Boys collaboration, is released as a single on 5th March. Robbie, Chris and Neil wrote the song, one of the highlights of Robbie's "Rudebox" album with Pet Shop Boys handling the production. The latest issue of the Observer Music Monthly has just named it one of its top five tracks of March explaining:
"Rudebox is Williams's best album and this Pet Shop Boys collaboration is the perfect introduction to it. Dumping a less favoured suitor in the wake of a better offer from the Material Girl herself - 'I love you baby, but face it, she's Madonna' - Robbie (in his dreams, at least) achieves the perfect blend of deference and braggadocio."
As a special digital treat and for a limited time only you can get the exclusive download-only Dark Horse Remix of She’s Madonna which is available to pre-order now from www.7digital.com/robbie. If you pre-order this track before midnight on March 5th you’ll also get access to an exclusive clip of Robbie live.
The single is also available on 2-track CD , Maxi-CD and DVD , featuring spectacular remixes from the likes of Chris Lake, Kris Menace and Switch, you can get it now from shop.robbiewilliams.com.
There'll be some VERY exciting Pet Shop Boys news announced soon, so keep checking www.petshopboys.co.uk for updates.
