The BOLSHOI
Posted: Sun Feb 25, 2007 2:48 pmWho dig this band.
In the Philippines, Bolshoi is considered as one of the New Wave greats. Their song AWAY (extended mix) is a big hit in the disco scenes. Sunday Morning and TV Man were constantly played on our local NW station before 105.1 DZBM FM.
I only got their album FRIENDS that featured my favorite TV Man.
Among their other great albums were GIANTS (1985), LINDYS PARTY (1987) and BIGGER GIANTS (1990).
Formed in Leeds, England, they open for bands like The Cult, Lords Of The New Church and Walls of Voodoo.
Bolshoi are Trevor Tanner, Nick Chown, Jan Kalicki and Paul Clark
