the group,,,,FASHION.
do you love them or hate them?????
my band,,,apart from the crowd had the luxury of opening for fashion on several of their german concert dates during the "twilight of idols " tour (with new vocalist alan darby)
it was awesome.....
fashion's first album was just a mesh mash of music with no direction.
fashion's second album,,"FABRIQUE" was a masterpiece of white/soul/electronic-funk. it was vocalist-DEE HARRIS swansong.
fashion's third & final album,,"TWILIGHT OF IDOLS" sounded like fabrique number two.
new vocalist,ALAN DARBY sounded just like dee harris & even alan darby's songwriting was very similar to that on fabrique.
after fashion,, dee harris formed the band,,"ZEE", with pink floyd keyboardist rick wright.
"ZEE" sounded like it should've been the third album for fashion.
dee harris also went on to produce & write with ex kajagoogoo vocalist, limahl, for limahl's debut album,,,,"DON"T SUPPOSE"..
below is 2 videos (live) of fashion...hope you enjoy..
