For me, it was Keren Woodward of Bananarama around the Venus period. Very hot!

Well... if I just had to go with one:

Male
Ian McCulloch from the bunnymen

Female
Debbie Harry

If I was able to choose more among the male:
Dave Gahan (especially since 1985-1993...including all those changes that he went through during those years)
The Cure's Simon Gallup
Martin Gore... super cute for me but not for the majority of girls
Bernard Sumner (since 1985-1993... that was his best)
David Sylvian
Frank Tovey though he's gone [V]

Male: Simon Gallup (who's still lookin' good today)& John Taylor
Female: Patricia Morrison

I wanted Terri Nunn in the worst way when I was growing up! I thought Clare Grogan was super cute. Kim Wilde was also hot as hell, as was Kate Garner from Haysi Fantayzee - check the "Shiny Shiny" video for proof.

And I always thought it would have been cool to look like John Taylor.
