Had never heard of this Dutch band until they came thru town a few weeks back.

I don't know if they're NW but they're definitely good. Been doing it thirty years now! Dizzy Spells is a good album. I've heard at least a couple of the collaborations they've done (eg with Sonic Youth) and those are good too. Not all of it's brilliant but generally they're well worth exploring.

If I had to label them I'd say post-punk. I hear a Gang of 4 influence.

Yes, Go4, Shellac, etc for sure. Angular and jagged.
