ongoing history of new music

Postby deevo0 » Sat Jul 23, 2011 12:08 pm

Stumbled across this Canadian radio show "The Ongoing History of New Music" ... there have been something like 600 hour-long episodes. I'd heard of the show, but when I read the wikipedia article I started to get interested:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Ongoin ... _New_Music

I've found shows from the last 6-7 years available online, but not the early 90s shows. Many shows deal with new wave ... I'd love to hear them. Anyone have these shows or know how to get them?

That show was on for years. It was great at the beginning. Alan Cross was just let go from the station a couple of weeks ago with no fanfare. Too bad after all those years.

You're kidding! I can't believe it. I've listened to a few shows and they are GREAT.

Classy of 'em. But typical I guess of radio these days (or any days now that I think of it).
