Just got a new vehicle and it has available on the radio stations a KROQ HD2 station. It plays only old 80's KROQ without any commericals.
Old DJs (including Jed the Fish and Freddy Snakeskin) and the old sound bites. They play a better variety of music than First Wave on Sirius.
Anyone else know about this station?
I understand that some of the major stations have another output on the airwaves playing older tunes in digital format.

Been listening for the last year or two on my iPhone. It's available through the Radio.com app, which unfortunately adds its own commercials and is buggy.
Until a few months ago it was available on any streaming radio app, but they yanked their licensing for some reason. I think it's because they're a CBS station and CBS is trying to make some money through these commercial driven apps.
