Today, now that I've left behind the English exam for which I sat last Friday, I found myself with enough time to try downloading and installing Soul Seek. And did it really well. I have already downloaded a song, the 12 inch version of I Could Be Happy by Altered Images (which I had been looking for for ages). I've already heard it on my stereo and it sounds great. I hope to discover a lot of "new" bands trough this site. So, I've got to thank Pellerman for recommending me that site. I owe you big time.

It'a all about sharing Silvina. I have been introduced to a lot of great bands via this board I was all but unfamilar with in the 80s, like Dramarama. If you don't mind some power pop. I would reccomend them.

You're quite welcome. Soulseek is a must have for anyone collecting the less well known bands.

Here's another place to check out. This site lists the top 100 year end countdowns for stations like KROQ, WLIR, etc that specialized in playing New Wave / Alternative.

I've just dowloaded 2 albums: Pinky Blue by Altered Images and Rhythm Breaks The Ice by Bette Bright And The Illuminations.
It's been 2 years since I discovered Altered Images and I could never download any of their albums until now. I listened it on my ipod while I went for a walk and I quite enjoyed it. My favourite songs so far are Forgotten, Think That It Might and Jump Jump (maybe it's because they all sound very similar to Pinky Blue, which I love.
As far as the Bette Bright album goes, I heard the songs years ago on Youtube but could never download the album either. (I discovered her as I'm a big Madness fan and as some of you might know she's married to Suggs). I havn't listened to the album yet (I'm a bit more excited about the Pinky Blue album), I might do it tonight.
