This is what I've downloaded from soulseeek in the past few days.
Today- One Small Day, We Came To Dance & The Thin Wall by Ultravox (I think I'm going trough an "Ultravox phase" right now and I wanted to have other songs of theirs). Favourite-One Small Day
Yesterday-
12" of Dont' Dream It's Over by Crowded House- quite good
12" of Always On My Mind- Pet Shop Boys- the best of the lot
12" of Our Lips Are Sealed- The Go-Go's- just an extention of the 7"
12" of (Keep Feeling) Fascination by The Human League- the same
12" of I Got You by Split Enz that turned out to be a... dance version of the song!!!
last Wednesday-
The Way You Dance, Vacation and Fading Fast by The Go-Go's live in 1981 (downloaded this from You Tube)- even better than the studio versions s they play with more energy here
last Monday
live versions of Dont' Dream It's Over & Better Be Home Soon by Crowded House live from Farewell To The World tour (their last concert in 1996)- not as good as studio versions. The best part is the crowd singing.

Good stuff! I don't think I've heard the extended version of "I Got You".

Actually, I wasn't sure about the existence of it. I just tought that there should be one as it was a very sucessful song and was released during a time when 12" were very common (Or was this song released prior to the 12" explosion?). I searched for it on You Tube but couldn't find it. I thought that it could be on Soulseek so I searched there and found it. I was very happy. But when I finally heard it (I tend to download songs without listening to them first) I found out that it was dance remix not an 12" mix so I was so dissapointed that I didn't bother to listen the entire song and deleted it from my ipod.
Do any of you know if a 12" of this song really exist? I guess that if it's not on soulseek it's because it doesn't.

Passing Strangers (BBC Radio 1 Live In Concert)- It lasts for over 5 minutes and things get a bit boring very quickly with so much guitar (when I'm listening to Ultravox live I'm always looking forward a synth solo not a guitar solo)
Sleepwalk (live from Vienna-Further Listening)- Probably my least favourite Ultravox song (out of those I've heard) but, as I wrote before, I'm going trough an Ultravox phase so I had to have it, even when it's not that different from the studio version.
Reap The Wild Wind (Live At Live Aid)-Right now I'm quite obsessed with the whole Live Aid thing (and with Ultravox aswell, as it was such a memorable event that gathered musicians from different styles for a good cause.
Do They Know It's Christmas? by Live Aid- I heard it for the first time a few weeks ago but it was after hearing it again few days ago that I realised that it'sprobabaly the best song ever made as it moved me in a way that few other songs have moved me.

Do they know it's Christmas was actually by Band Aid (1984) / Band Aid 2 (1989) / Band Aid 25 (2009). You've just heard it fo rthe first time? OMFG!

Well, it never gets played on the radio here in Uruguay, unlike We Are The World, which in my opinion it's not that good (maybe it's that I like British artists better).

Altered Images-The whole Bite album, except for Don't Talk To Me About Love, Bring Me Closer and Change Of Heart, which I already had. To be honest, I didn't get hooked. Maybe it's because most of the songs aren't catchy enough for my tastes and it doesen't have that light hearted vibe that I love so much in Pinky Blue. OK, I didn't give the album half a chance as I heard it in it's entirity just once. The songs I like the best so far are Another Lost Look and Now That You're Here.
Aztec Camera- The Bugle Sounds Again and Back On Board. I downloaded these as like Oblivious so much and, I must admit, it was a waste of time. There was such a lack of catchiness in these songs that I listened to them just twice or three times and then I quickly forgot about them.

Altered Images "Bite", I agree, isn't a great album as a whole. Like you say, it has some really good tunes on it, as well as one of my favorite Altered Images tracks : "Love To Stay". The single edit is too short - the album version is perfect.
