As this has been discussed before, I, myself, still am unable to find any information on the artist and song that is featured in the original theatrical Breakfast Club trailer. It begins at 0:23 seconds and continues until approximately 0:54 seconds which you think would give you enough time to identify this mystery song, but it does not.

I would post this in the "Help Me Identify This" thread but, I have done so in the past but never received a reply so I am hoping someone can shed some light on this track.

I don't think the vocals match up to Wang Chung, though good guess considering they are featured on the soundtrack.

i thought the drumming on the track reminded me of Wang Chung
