Excited and afraid at the same time. Usually when a band reaches it's fifth incarnation it has few original members, is so far removed from what it initially sounded like or has just plain run out of steam. Hoping for the best here and that this effort won't tarnish their legacy.

I saw them twice as The Chameleons UK in 2002, and once in 2011 as Chameleons Vox. All amazing shows, and as long as Mark Burgess is belting out Chams tunes, I would go!!!

I just saw Chameleons Vox last year, and they were fantastic. Disappointed the crowd was smaller than the turn of the century Chameleons re-union, but that meant I was up close and Mark is a tremendously charismatic singer. All-together better than Peter Hook playing Joy Division. Peter Hook didn't really open up to the audience until after they ran through Closer.

As far as new material, I don't have my hopes up. With the irreplaceable Dave and Reg, they sadly couldn't match past peaks in the first re-union album.
