Is there anything that documents the new wave scene like there are millions of documentaries for 80's hair metal?

I always like this one. More concert footage than "scene" but still pretty good.

Not sure Urgh! is the "scene". Maybe a combo of Mayor of Sunset Strip, TV Party, Punk Attitude and The Nomi Song?

Valley Girl was kinda sorta maybe the CA scene? I'm a NY-er so I don't know for sure. Sure, it's Hollywood crapola but c'mon - it had the Plimsouls & Josie Cotton in it! And spawned not one but two awesome soundtrack CDs!
