Very sad news. I was actually just watching a number of clips from Top of the Pops earlier in the week before she passed. Her younger brother was Keith Chegwin, who passed in 2017.

Wonderful TV presenter on TOTP.
Worked great in combo with the late John Peel.

I wish I was able to hear her as a radio host though.

Quite respected Janice Long. Women DJs and presenters would have quite a tough time in those days. Janice also worked well with John Peel and her show was an important link between the more mainstream music and the less well known tracks that Peel would play.
