New Wave Outpost Forum

Hi everyone...I've been away for a while due to my wife's surgery and the holidays & such, but I am ready to get back into the swing of things. It's good to be back!

Australia Day is coming up on the 26th of this month and that means that it's time for the 3rd annual Australia Day special on my show. It takes place on Monday the 23rd, and I was looking for your suggestions for some cool Aussie/Kiwi bands to feature on the Big Show. Here's some of the stuff I already have:

The Sunnyboys
Hunters and Collectors
INXS (the original band of course)
Men At Work
Split Enz/Crowded House/Finn Brothers
Mondo Rock
Jo Jo Zep
Mental As Anything
AC/DC
The Go Betweens
Midnight Oil

Any others?

Big Pig
Eurogliders

The Church
Hoodoo Gurus
Pseudo Echo
Real Life
The Radiators

And actually Split Enz is from New Zealand [;)]

I picked up this comp at the last NYC record fair outing with my tutors/gurus Schwenko and Skinnytie, and it's become one of my recent favorites. Called "Tales from the Australian Underground", it really opened my ears to a TON of bands. Here's the playlist, lemme if you're interested in an mp3 disc via email:
