The album "Trio And Error" was a 'best of' their first two German albums, although the songs were the English language versions. Most of the tracks came from their 2nd album, "Bye Bye", with a few replaced by songs from the first album ("Trio"), one of which was 'Da Da Da'.
The CD you mention is actually "Trio And Error" with a few extra trax!
Anyway, the first album is very raw and 'minimalist', with 'Da Da Da' being one of the more 'produced' songs on the album (if you can believe that). It's really good and contains some real classics like 'Broken Hearts For You And Me', 'Nasty', 'Danger Is' and more. Most of it is in German, but there are some tracks in English. THis album was reissued a few years ago in a 'deluxe' 2CD set with demos and other odds and ends.
The 2nd album continued in a similar vein to 'Da Da Da' with a bit more production but still very basic and melodic. The album contains the German-language versions of most songs that appeared on "Trio And Error".
THeir third album, 'What's The Password' is NOT a great record, although it contains some great songs. There's definitely more keyboards and more full production but the album is not their best.
After that, it was over for Trio. Remmler's solo albums have not been consistent but they do contain some real gems. And stylistically, he's all over the map. He's got a new one coming this month, too!
