I don't care about The Beatles, but if you ask me about the Beetles, I can tell you that they taste good with mayonnaise. Somebody told me that half-Koreans eat them daily for breakfast! Ask Blir if you don't believe me.

<br> Even I like 3 Beatles songs out of everything they've done. Percentage-wise, this means I like them much better than Coldplay and Creed, but much less than such greats as Third Eye Blind and Counting Crows (and yes, Spandau Ballet).
On the chance that the above may actually NOT be a very dry, twisted attempt at sarcasm...

There's more to like about The Beatles in just their movies and press conference quotes alone than all of Third Eye Blind's or Counting Crows' entire musical output. The Beatles have to be at least be given credit for their intelligence, articulation and sense of humor.

THEY set out to change the world and in some ways were successful.

Third Eye Blind set out to find an alternative to working the drive through window at Sonic Burger and based on their output of the last few years, appear headed back to that fate.

Counting Crows are right up there with Hootie And The Blowfish. Which is to say they are both great bar bands and I would probably enjoy their concerts (given free tickets, that is).
edited to add: I'll vote for Ringo. At least he's not overrated. [:D]
Ringo rocks!

PS- Lennon wrote better songs without McCartney than McCartney did without Lennon.
