I certinal will never forget 9/11 I was in the kitchen adn my friend caalled me into the living room and I just went 'fuck' coudn't believe it. And of course with all the madness that has followed that day things aren't quite the same. Of course we had terrorists here in the UK but that was a little different, all thi alqueada stuff well, it kinda makes the coldwar seem cosy for some reason! At least you knew where the enemy was then!(And yeah, I was one of those kids who was terrified by the thought of nuclear war!Still don't rule it out actually)[:0][:(][V]

eSkeptic has a very lenghty article that, in my opinion, clearly debunks some of the 9/11 conspiracy theories. I won't even attempt to summarize it here, but for those of you who are interested, you may want to check this out:

<br>I have immense sympathy for those who died on 9/11 and their families. But, like Motors and Opera Prima, I don't think we're getting the whole story. It's nothing new for our government to plan terror attacks on its own citizens in order to catalyze a desirable event - such as the Iraq war, or in the case of Operation Northwoods in 1962, an attack on Castro's Cuba. Despite a long history of military service in my family, I will not allow my two young sons to be drafted to fight and die for a another pack of lies - whether they be Democrat or Republican.

Operation Northwoods, mentioned in the Loose Change video intro, was never implemented by Kennedy despite full approval by the Joint Chiefs. Disturbingly, it even proposed "hijacking airliners" and "orchestrating violent terrorism in US cities" in order to drum up popular support for a war against Cuba. Sound familiar? Don't take my word for it, have a chilling read for yourselves: http://abcnews.go.com/US/story?id=92662&page=1. The original sources are declassified US govt. documents. Famed and respected NSA chronicler James Bamford has written extensively about it.

I don't pretend to know what really happened, and I take no pleasure whatsoever from conspiracy theory or believing the worst, but this is enough to give me pause. Also, check out reporter Carl Cameron's now spiked but disturbing Fox News report on a possible Israeli angle: http://100777.com/node/180?PHPSESSID=c5 ... 4d2e6b2efe. Remember: Cui Bono . . .

I love a good conspiracy theory [;)] It makes for good reading! From Kenedy and the second shooter, to the fake moon landing to 9-11. It's like Marvel's "What If" comics.

Rob Thomas from Matchbox Twenty of all people said it best on Real Time With Bill Maher last week.

"If we're becoming a nation of conspiracy theorists over 9/11 I think it
comes from our leaders. I mean I think the first major conspiracy theory over 9/11 was the fact that somehow it was associated with Iraq and Saddam Hussein so I think we're just following the leader."

For those of you who don't have access to HBO, several of the Bill Maher episodes are available as free podcasts on iTunes. Does anyone remember when they dropped Bill Maher from TV after 9/11? That was a great show and I was sad to see it go.

Hell yeah Bill Maher rocks. I never miss an episode. This past week's w/ the aforementioned Rob Thomas and PJ O'Rourke was one of the best shows he's ever done. The bit with the Suri Cruise doll was classic. Here's a link to it for anyone interested:

I've seen those pics. Some douchebags claim it's "satan". LOL. Maybe it's "the virgin mary" (fuck, we really need an *eyes rolling* icon).

Then again, if I stare hard enough at other parts of those pics, I swear I can see Lindsay Lohan's snatch. I guess anything's possible.

No, no. Her snatch is much, much bigger than that.
