I only remember the guy that drew people being at SPIT.
The Adam Ant guy (Doug) was at every club. I'd love to see his picture GlitteringPrize.
Raserx, I do remember the Asian girl with the long hair. She would wear next to nothing if I remember right.
I remember a guy walking a girl on a leash a few times. She had a studded collar. lol.

Yes...the artist guy. I forgot about him. I didn't see him after like 1988 though. How long did he hang around?

I know that the artist guy was also at Thrush once or twice in the very early days and I remember him being at Reds a few times too. I can't remember the paper bags at all. What was this?

The Paper Bag show is a bunch of musicians playing. http://www.paperbagmusic.com

Here's a short listing of some of the old Long Island clubs & what stands in their place currently.

That list is kind of sad. I saw My Father's Place. What a great place to see a show. Old converted bowling alley. I saw Black Flag, Minor Threat and Saccharine Trust there (one show). I also saw X there and even Our Daughter's Wedding

Thanks Cee!
I checked the website for the bags. I can't say that I had every heard of them at all (though I do remember L.A.'s Alice Bag Band)

<br>Hey Cee, I got caught up in the legal not legal thing too, I actually walked in to 007 with my birth certificate when I turned 19, then just a short time later I was underage again :( I just was hoping they would forget that night and they did!!!
It's funny when you'd go out with your real birth certificate. Nowadays that stays locked up at home. How about the famous Part 2's of the licenses that you could borrow from someone.
yeah what was i thinking about taking my birth certificate, luckily its here with me safe, it was in my parents fire lock box and I took it for that night! I borrowed my OLDER sister license, which had no picture on it :) she lived in Elmont so we would stop by and pick it up and drop it off on the stairs of her apartment at 4am in the morning for her to go to work with
