[:0] HOLD EVERYTHING!!! [:0]

Things just weren't looking right to me on the original correlation chart, so I went back and dug deeper. Apparently, having so many null values in the original comparison breaks the Spearman Rank Correlation algorithm...who knew?! [:o)] It's like trying to compare Apples and Oranges since everyone essentially was judged on different song sets. Or maybe like having some people pick amongst a bunch of vegetables and others amongst different meats of the world, then asking how they were related to eachother. I needed to add a real "0" to each of the null values instead - all fixed!

Here's the new chart that makes MUCH more sense. We're seeing almost everyone break off into two main clusters, we'll call them "L" and "R" - kinda nifty. Then there's those freaks Eight6, Opera Prima and YipYip way off on their own by a far margin, we'll call them cluster "X". There's absolutely zero correlation between them and anyone else! [:p]

Both L and R clusters seem to further segregate into several subclusters. A lot of things stayed the same, many things changed quite a lot. In those clusters, L4 and R1 are the most distinct from the rest of their respective clusters, each falling into their own root sub-cluster before the other clusters branch off themselves.

The most related individuals were Fanciz and Rubbeet. There must be something in the water...something BAD, LOL! TomD is by far the most related to the mean of the NWO represented here, with MikeP also in that group - interesting. I'm proud to be cozy with Cubby - go BSP bro!!! Manekineko now falls a little farther out but not by much. The Long Island inbreeding is apparent in Abs, Marv and BigBri's clustering - cool.

You guys see anything else? Happier with this model?? [8D]

The only sense I can make of all this is that it looks like it could be a New Order album jacket.

So I guess this means I can't piss off Abacab666 any more. Too bad for you: you could have been Abacab86...

I can grant many things: alas, I used the last of my youth potion on Mare_Idol, figuring she'd need the extra years to "grow up". However, being next to Marvymarv should make you feel at least 10 years younger.

BTW: Why am I always next to a mod on these charts?

You're not really. Think of the tree as one of those hanging mobiles. The nodes can swing around in 3-D so that the only relatedness is from the nodes. If we flip the two main nodes around in 2-D, it's still the same representation except Marie would be on the other side and DSR would be right next to you...now, you wouldn't want that would you?!

The geometric shapes, the graduating colors, the overload of scientific information - it's a veritable cornucopia of brain functions - twisted geekster entertainment.

But oh how I do like this second chart. Oh yes I do.

Hex, you moved... be careful of Otters, he's a crafty/slippery little animal. Come back by me, Wozgo and Dave are nice guys. You can bring Otters if he's in a cage or muzzled.

I was going to say something smart-assy about Edith Nylon, but it just won't come.

Damn!

This is insane! You are trying to see if people will react negatively just so you could find an excuse to "go back and dig deeper", huh!!!??? You are looking for a reason to end up sitting next to FANCIZ, isn't it!!!??? How clever.

You and your FANCIZcism.[:D]

Me, I'll be busy being gentle for a while... although those winter nutsacks are really quite tempting!
