I can't believe I bought it!

I can't believe I bought it!

Probably a topic discussed often here but I can't help myself. Here I am transferring cassettes and what do I pull out of the box - Roger Glover's "The Mask" from 1984! [:0]

I can't help myself. I have to play it, all 7+ minutes of it!

I can't believe I bought this back in the day!!! It is borderline comical![:0]

Hey, that's not an altogether bad AOR tune ... particularly when lying naked by a swimming pool wearing a tribal mask! Mind you, there's no one else around![:D]

My "I can't believe I bought that" would go to an album by a band called Gentlemen Without Weapons that I bought when it came out in '88. It was billed as some ecology-conscious rock album constructed from sampled nature sounds (or something along those lines) but in reality was a bunch of godawful hippy-dippy new agey disposable pop with lots of nature sounds.

Urgh! Now I'm going to have to go look for the video on youtube...which I recall as being atrociously awful! Why is this song like a car crash to me - I can't tear myself away!

And now I will forever remember Roger Glover as the first post of mine on NWO that Mike responded to!

Mike, that would've been my choice as well, probably one of the worst albums I've ever heard.

I actually liked the tune Mask when it came out. Have not heard it in about 20 years though.[:)]
