<p align="justify">I can definitely limit this topic to New Wave and New Wave-inspired junk. The good CRANK music comes from Cabaret Voltaire, Einsturzende Neubauten, Death In June, Suicide, Front 242, et al[}:)]

"Automatic Gun" by Japan
"The Calling (MK II)" by Death In June
"Coitus Interruptus" by Fad Gadget
"Don't Crash!" by Front 242
"Ghost Rider" by Suicide
"I Want You 12" mix" by Cabaret Voltaire
"Interzone" by Joy Division
"The Stand" by The Alarm
"While I'm Still Alive" by Ultravox!
"Yu Gung (Futter Mein Ego)" by Einsturzende Neubauten

Yeah... these are pretty rockin' New Wave that must be heard FULL BLAST[}:)]

Thanks for some other ideas and suggestions:

On the road, lately it has been pretty mainstream (a mix CD), most of them are CRANKERS:

Oasis - "Rock and Roll Star", "Aquiesce", and "Columbia" (been in the mood lately... killer hooks)
Curve - "Horrorhead", "On the Wheel" (they need to reform)
Cult - "She Sells Sanctuary" and "Phoenix" (ahhhh memories)
Terry Reid - "The River" (check it out, it's good)
Queen - "I'm In Love With My Car" (fun, loud, the best CRANKING band around, well used to be around)
House of Love - "Shine On" (anthemic)
The Skids - "Charles" (nice simple riff that buries itself in your brain), and "Circus Games"
T. Rex - "20th Century Boy" (it's gotta be LOUD)
Black Flag - "Rise Above" (right before I walk into the job)
Avengers - "Paint It Black" (sweet, see above)
Chameleons - "Monkeyland" (fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucccccccccccccccckkkkkkkkk)
Depeche Mode - "Free" (why was this left off the new album?)
Sonic Youth - "Expressway to Yr Skull" (fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuccccckkk part 2)
Tones on Tail - "Go!" (always puts a smile on my face), "Rain" (slow but effective)
Kasabian - L.S.F.
The Ruts - S.U.S. (been in an EMI punk mode lately)

...and I have to admit, though it isn't on this quickie mix CD, "Yu Gung" (especially the Sherwood mix) truly is the greatest song to drive around listening to. Good call on that one. I'd like to study driving habits of people who are listening to that one.

Oh yeah, Ride's "Going Blank Again" is probably in my top 5 albums of all time. That one is crankable from beginning to end.
