BEST OF ELTON MOTELLO

BEST OF ELTON MOTELLO

There is a CD called "Jet Boy"...
It's a compilation.
And it contains the best tunes from Elton Motello's 2 albums ("Victim Of Time" and "Pop Art") plus a bonus track ("Getting Into Trouble", obviously previously unreleased).
Eventhough I miss "Falling Like A Domino" on this compilation I strongly recommend it.

It is NOT true, however that Elton Motello did a cover version of Plastic Bertrand's song "Ca Plane Pour Moi".
Elton Motello (a k a Alan Ward) wrote the original English lyrics, "Jet Boy Jet Girl", and Plastic Bertrand used Elton Motello's backing track when he recorded the song.

"They take away our freedom in the name of liberty!" (Stiff Little Fingers)

The fact that they left off my two favorite songs, Pop Art and Pocket Calculator, ensured I wouldn't purchase it. I'm mean really, how could they leave off Pop Art?? It was the single from that album!

Not a bad collection, but I much rather see both albums released w/bonus tracks
