Pretty underwhelming, especially when compared to Rio.

The only new stuff here is the live stuff, and "As the Lights Go Down" is almost the same as "Arena (An Absurd Notion)". The performance on Arena was utter crap.

I guess I'll have to see what the price is ...

Some of the Duran Duran Fan releases should be officially released, such as BBC in Concert 1981, which I hope will be part of the first album set. If not, I guess a FLAC will appear, eventually [:D].

This is amazing and very exciting! I may even buy the vinyl version as well, since this album is so special to me. And released just shortly after my 40th birthday, and what a present it will be...

I always found it strange why they put Is There Something I Should Know? on the CD of the debut album obviously they have rectified it this time.

That is a great story of the making of The Reflex as well as the album. They barely had enough material for an album, and songs were wrote in the studio.. probably why there are no other demos or unused songs.

Thanks. I'm reading it now ...

BTW, which cover do you guys prefer: the one with the blue border, or without it?

I'm used to the blue border, so that's the one I prefer. The 200x remastered releases just seem weird. The same goes with Depeche's Some Great Reward. It's kind of ironic, in a way, when modern remastered releases try to go back to how the original was, but then they decide to make a minor change in the cover.

Obs, yes from the article it's interesting that Union of the Snake is based on "Let's Dance"

> I always found it strange why they put Is There Something I Should Know? on the CD of the debut album obviously they have rectified it this time.

They rectified it years ago (2004?), when they released the remastered CD. The replica vinyl packaging even has the shiny silver stripe.
