<br>I have no doubt to get the DVD you will have to buy the super deluxe edition which will probably cost in excess of £20
hate that as well (in those days record companies know they can just earn by selling everything multiple times to the hardcore fanbase), but with The Cure there won't be a dvd with Disintegration rerelease, unfortunately.
On the subject of the b sides and as a few people have pointed out they do appear on the Join The Dots box well Duran Duran seem to be putting everything that has appeared on their singles box sets on their remasters so there is no excuse why The Cure couldn't have done
hm, as said somewhere else, I am quite happy that they don't do, I feel rather ripped-off by Duran, buying the b-sides again when they could have included more session/live/demo stuff... but of course tastes are different. I still have rather something unreleased than sth I just payed an awful lot for a boxset when eveything of that is reproduced on the rereleases... maybe they should have done the boxset as collection of unreleased stuff / demos instead + stuck the b-sides to the albums. but as Join The Dots is out there already, there isn't much of a choice.
i mean crap some of them are barely even listenable.
to be honest, what do some people expect, sure this isn't high-end, but I mean we are talking hometaping recordings from 1980... and I know of quite a few hardcore fans who are extremely happy to find stuff like 'Violin Song' or the demo to 'Secrets' on the remasters.
Let's just hope this rumour of there being a Mixed Up 2 being released is true.
I can't say what the score is in 2009 but years back when the remasters were started, Mixed Up was definetely planned to be rereleased + as said, I hope with all the 12" mixes (and not new stuff like those horrible mixes-ep for the last album).
