Analogue Variation(s) = original vinyl version(s).
Claiming that they've not been released on CD before is a load of hooey, though.

The neever released on cd line, has been taken off the website, & it doesn't appear on the artwork, an oversight.

It's worth noting about the "Analogue variations" vs digitak versions is the Steve Lipson went back into the studio for a few months to remix these tracks, so technically they are his definative versions

I still prefer the vinyl version, anyways. I prefer the original Jewel over Jewel Cut Rough.

I honestly don't know where they have got that release date from both are being released on the 19th July. The North American release date for both is the 27th July.

I think it sounds amazing. I wish it had all of "Wishful Thinking" on it, but I've already got that on CD so I guess I will be content.

I was excited about all the bonus tracks, but for the most part they are just extended bits of things you've already heard.

Still, "A Secret Wish" has always been one of my top 10 80's CDs (maybe top 10 ever) and to have it sounding better than ever is well worth the money.

Also worth having is Outside World, which has some mixes that were not on A Secret Wish or Wishful Thinking.
