It's on the It Doesn't Have To Be single if you check that link that obs posted above.

My mistake... I even own the box sets. I guess I should listen to them more often.

Which song was left off of the recent "Club" EP? I KNOW that it had some licensing problems...

> What I meant to say about the shiver mix of Sometimes is that I've only had the full length 7 1/2" minute mix on vinyl. It's on the boxed set, but it's an edit that runs less than 6 minutes.

Okay, I see what you are talking about. I have the same US 12".

The remix names are actually screwed up on Side A. The longer mix you are referring to is a Joseph Watt/Razormaid re-edit (of Shiver Mix). Coincidently, I just edited the Discogs entry a few days ago :-).

Thanks obs. So the shiver mix re-edit was actually used on an official Erasure release? Because that's how I have it--it's on the 12" of sometimes. (I know most razormaid mixes were not released to the mainstream).

The thing is, a remix (re-edit) by Joseph Watt doesn't mean it is a Razormaid remix. Watt can be comissioned to do a remix by an artist, as opposed to Watt choosing tracks (and getting permission) to remix for Razormaid compilations.

A couple of examples are the two remixes that appear on the respective L12s of 'Who Needs Love (Like That)' and 'Heavenly Action'. He also did Depeche's Flexible Deportation Mix, which appears on the US/CA 12" of Flexible. None of these remixes are Razormaid remixes, and those specific versions don't appear on any Razormaid compilations.

It would have been nice if they included the Watt Extended Mix, though. The Innocents remaster has one or two of the US/CA-only remixes ('Chains of Love' and/or 'A Little Respect').

The new CDs have jumped the pond and landed on my doorstep here in the US today! I was excited to see them when I got home. The EIS slipcovers are a nice extra touch (Thanks EIS!) To my non-audiophile ears, the first disc of Wonderland sounds great. Trying to read the booklet some. That first page is a bit difficult, though. Dark text on a dark background is rough on these aging eyes. The quality of the Live at Karlsson, Stockholm concert is particularly remarkable. The sound has obviously been handled with care here, and the video image is crisp and pleasant. Reach your hand out and mop the sweat off Andy as the performance progresses.

I have yet to listen to The Circus, but having both these albums in my collection is great. I've never listened to either of them so there's some real discovery going on here tonight.

I'd be curious to hear what anyone who owns both the original CDs and the remasters has to say about the sound quality difference.
