I remember seeing it at a budget theater when it came out. The consensus at the time was that it was pretty good. I still remember some scenes from it, e.g., one guy saying he liked to dance like James Brown.

Man, I remember that movie ... I saw it at a budget theater, too. Seems like I saw a lot of films like it and yeah, we all thought it was better than most of 'em.

Another forgotten movie with a lot of New Wave tracks in it from the 80's is "Married to The Mob"
