Debbie Harry KooKoo reissue with bonus tracks

Postby profil » Thu Nov 24, 2011 10:58 pm

That's fantastic news - two more 12" versions from my wish list finally released on CD:

Blondie - Inner City Spillover (Extended Version)
Donna Summer - With Your Love (Original 12" Mix)

I wasn't sure if they really use the full 12" version. Thanks for your confirmation, budaniel. I have just ordered it at amazon marketplace because I've learned my lesson well ; )

Received mine today. The remastering is awesome. Slightly on the loud side some might say, but nonetheless crisp and well balanced. This reissue of Koo Koo is the best i've seen so far. The cd booklet is amazing with a comprehensive essay about Debbie's associaton with CHIC plus indepth reviews on each track. I know most of us were skeptical on GOLD LEGION but this cd is proof that they "DO" put out superior products and take care of their cds . Again i actually found a seller called CDTaxi on Amazon and ordered thru them.

got e-mail notice that both Grace Jones CDs are now complete and ready for shipment, so I just ordered those from Gold Legion as well. They have most definitely adjusted their way of doing business based on complaints, and are now noting on their site whether items are in stock or still not released--and filling orders for in stock items. Not sure if they still charge if you purchase unreleased stuff, because I'm only ordering as they're released now instead of 'pre-ordering'.

Well, sadly I have to report neither my CDs, nor any response from GL as to why everyone else has theirs and i don't have, made their way to the UK yet :-(

They seem to send them surface mail - my Koo Koo took exactly a month from notification of posting to it arriving in Wales. Haven't had a notification about Muse having been sent out yet, so if that's delayed, they may hold up your whole order to save on shipping.

Oh well, my whole order shipped... I wonder why yours is delayed? Sounds like it might take another 2 weeks then. Groan.

Ooh my Muse arrived in the UK today. Blimey, it's good. If only they could do all of Grace's albums...
