New Paul Hardcastle album on the way

Postby Sensoria » Mon Sep 10, 2012 11:05 pm

Taken from ThisIsNoRetro.com (formerly RememberTheEighties.com) Paul Hardcastle will release a brand new album entitled "19 Below Zero" on October 15th.
The release - described as 'a kaleidoscopic double album of ethereal beats, hypnotic rhythms and sensuous soundscapes of warm electronic artistry' - features nine brand new tracks alongside a selection of previously unreleased tracks from his catalogue including an unreleased version of "19" found in his personal archive.

Yep! I wish all of his albums up to 1990's "Sound Syndicate" finally get reissues they deserved. Especially the first three - "Daybreak" (1984), "Zero One" (1985) and "Paul Hardcastle" (1985). CD/DVD editions with accompanying bonus tracks and promo videos.
I loved "19's" 25th anniversary edit entitled "Boys To War" from 2 years ago a lot. Mindblowing video as well (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P1N4ENCV7xE).

Actually Paul Hardcastle (1985) has been online for quite a while in an expanded edition with various bonus tracks. However i don't think it's been remastered.

That was actually a 18×File, AAC, 256 kbps abum download reissue from
5 years ago. Rather have that on a CD with the best quality available instead of those compressed files.

Paul's in charge of all his music i think, therefore i doubt if Cherry Red or Edsel would ever get involved. I'm sure he'll reissue his albums in his own sweet time.
